Sorry I'm not sure what ETKA is? [paperbag] Do you have a link or
anything? Its not really the price I'm worried about, just the
frequency itself as it needs to be 433MHz. I've sent Vagproducts an
e-mail to enquire about the frequency anyway. Is it £43.71 without the
key blade and transponder as that part number is just for the remote
key fob alone. I've just read a previous thread about someone who got sent the wrong frequency from Vagproducts and the part number wasn't even HLO 1J0 959 753 P it was HLO 1J0 959 753 DA. [:S]

They've not listed the frequency on Vagproducts.

 

nah i picked up on the 433mhz as there was a 315?Mhz one as well

 

Hi i bought 2 3 button fobs1J0959753P for £64 minus the blade section which i already had because i bought the N version on ebay which didn't work on my car remote wise, but coded the immobilizers to my car so the seller didn't want them back. So i can now open the boot on its own by holding the boot button down.

 

Can I ask where you got them from for that price Peace? []

 

They came from China all received them in 3 days cheap as chips here's the link.

Just bought the fob and a transponder/key to go with it from another listing.

 

Fella to save on getting the key cut unless you know somewhere that can cut it cheap just swap your old blade etc over job done.

Got everything yesterday, went over to Timpsons to get a copy cut came back and it only went 1/4 way into the barrel and decided to stop there so gonna take the key back today and tell him it doesn't work []

 

Timpson are hit and miss i had to go back and fourth to my car to try my key about six times. The joke was i couldn't park my car anywhere near the shop as it was in a shopping center so in the end i used my old blade. Yours may just need alittle filing lets hope so.

 

Really, I'm gonna do just that then. I only paid £5 to get it done so I guess I could of expected this [:S]

 

Just got back from there now, and they've managed to get it working on both doors but not the bootlid (it may just need wearing in). Managed to program my new 3 button remote fob as well and it works a treat! [<)] Thanks for all your help anyway, just need to get my transponder chip programmed now.
