Your post implies that they do work once you start moving, is that right? remember the wipers will park if you stop moving for a certain length of time e.g. at traffic lights.

 

yeah they will not wipe if in stationary after a few seconds but you can override it by flicking the wiper. On the issue of your washers can you hear the washer pumps when you pull your stalk? maybe the fuse has gone?

 

No cannot hear the washers at all.

Now you cannot override it while the vehicle is stationary and the wipers actually stop in their position if you stop if that makes any sense. They don't return they can stop in whatever position they are.

Both faults developed at the same time.

 

I could be an earth connection at a guest. They can make really weird things happen!

 

Also the n/s wing mirror doesn't heat up anymore. Very odd stuff happening.

 

its the bonnet switch common fault disconect it for temp fix[<)]

 

Where's the bonnet switch located tony19780?

 

Open the bonnet two pin plug on the drivers side of the slam pannel about 12inches away from the catch happy hunting

Its completly up to you if it was me i would replace as the alarm uses this switch and bonnet wont be covered by the alarm ;-)
