Both the main and dipped beam are H7 bulbs. I replaced mine with OSRAM Silverstar bulbs as recommended by Autoexpress.

Not in the same league, but a lot cheaper, I have fitted Osram Silver Stars. Nice improvement over standard for about ?40.

Have just ordered the latest PIAA bulbs out called 'Chrome Mirror White', they sound a bit chavvy but produce 110W and only draw 55W, have used 'Xtreme White' in the past with the same 110w/55w but these new Chrome bulbs produce a whiter light, should get them tomorrow, will give some feedback.

Have cost a few quid though!! - ?140-odd including postage, never mind hey, the standard lights are shocking and I can obviously swap the bulbs over when I sell the car.

 

Received and fitted the bulbs yesterday, massive improvement over the standard lights, very near to the brightness/clarity/distance of Zenons i've had in past cars.

Definately worth the money.
