You have all the answers! Got my memory seats a long time ago but not fitted yet. Just ordered my 3B1959760E module to match the 1C0 CCM in my car. Ray (aRd) made me the plugs (red and brown) so I just need to hurry up.

One question.. what do the mirrors need to dip? I have lupo stubby mirrors. I will see if they have the blue connector - if not what do I need to buy?

Hi Geof

You have to find exterior mirrors with memory function . Then connect the cables according diagram.

Also don't forget to run a cable from reverse light to Brown connector under seat Pin 8 .

This cable give the signal to module for mirror dipping.

If I buy a memory seat, can I swap the base with my manual r32 seat?

 

You need to weld the bolster supports and headrest support on r32 konig seats

@golfmk4gr I am unable to see the pictures on your original post... I don't understand this post really.. Is there wiring that must be done? I have memory seats installed with the correct 1C0 module and power fold mirrors.

I know that there are lot of members want to retrofit power seats with memory function . Under drivers power memory seat there are 4 connectors.
The yellow is for airbag , the green is for heated seat , the red is the 12v power - ground and finally the brown connector is for memory side mirrors.

Here is a wiring diagram for the brown connector

The blue T8 connector is the mirror motors connector (if the mirrors must have memory function ) ,

Also under driver power memory seat there is a module like this

If cars ccm is 1J0............ the module must be 3B1959760A
If cars ccm is 1C0............ the module must be 3B1959760E
The pinn 8 from brown connector under drivers seat gives the signal for auto passengers mirror dipping with reverse gear ( if the mirror switch is in passengers position).
