Oddly enough I was just looking at this on e-bay,no reason I know of why it would work with one engine and not others as the protocols they use to talk to each other will all be the same

iv just been watching a couple videos on youtube and the app its self looks to run very well, also seems to read all the data good enuf,
think i will be buying this and for the price i think its well worth it

Would them Bluetooth obd-ll connectors work with the rev app for iPhone? Assuming the torque app is just the android version. Was looking at the rev app the other day but didn't understand how it would connect to the car. I see now. Anyone tried the rev app for iPhone?

Thats what I was thinking aswell, I downloaded the app the other day but not sure of what obd connector to buy to make the app work

What are you using to run this app on agu .ove got dash command app and don't know what to use to connect to obd2

 

I'm running torque pro on a Pd130 golf 52reg. Runs fine.

 

Ive used this app for a few years. I havent tried it on my 2002 pd150 yet, but it was running on my x reg clio when I got hit on a roundabout. The resulting data in the log proved the other driver was at fault, saved me loads in insurance. Id highly recommend it. Hope it works on my golf, fingers crossed.

 

Used it on my 03 GT TDI worked fine both using the freebie and the knockoff pro version

 

My '99 Golf does not work with an Elm327 so I bought one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271036790042 and one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301058415111 for my pc and I should be good to use VCDS lite or mobile.

I'm pretty confident Torque Pro should be able to talk to the Bluetooth cable which can now talk to my ecu.
