Does the R32's interior trim peel like the rest??

In my golf (and everyone elses) the laquer on the dash console bit, door handles and other areas looks a bit rough from the common peeling problem.

bit im trying to persuade my dad to get a mk4 r32 but thats what he said he doesnt like the tattyness inside of mine, so was wondering if r32s have the same problem seeing as they have silver trim??

Any helps help, thanks

Nope, as you rightly stated, the MK4 R32 trim is brushed aluminium. Not rubber coated plastic, and does not peel.

Or he could get a MK5! no tattyness in sight

Aluminium trim doesn't peel, but it easily dents and scratches. The drivers electric window panel is always one that knackered. About £70 for a new one if you're replacing it

I bought mine brand new, 2003. I'm guessing they're worth about £4-7k nowadays
