Couple of quid and its yours guvnor

Cheers mate, all credit to Jamie for the hardlines! I have only just started polishing them haha. Would be good to catch up! What's going on with the v5? :)
He gets enough credit from I've seen... Pretend you did it all yourself. He'd make a pretty good plumber though, I must say.

Not much is happening to be honest. Took it out for a blast last week, gave a good wash and a wax, but the plan is to sell up and put the money towards a Mk2. I really want to bag one!

But that's enough thread hijacking. Keep up the progress and making me jealous! :)

Cheers! :Y: Ah thanks for the offer but I'm loving the smooth front strip plus my plate wouldn't suit a jap spec strip :(

Not a whole lot going on at the moment, got my MOT next weekend and I'm on holiday during next week so just getting everything sorted for the test :) couple of things I know needed sorting was the airbag light on from when I ran the r32 seats without the loom plugged in and also I was using home made bolts and plates to secure the rear bags as the kit I bought didn't come with them ???? all that's left is a dipped headlight not working on the xenons but I don't think that will get that fixed in time this weekend so got a set of normal headlights to put in while I sort out the issue :) fingers crossed it goes well!!

Also got a very welcome email through from the guys at players! :D somehow the golf got accepted into the top level meguiars paddock at players classic which I can't wait for!

Productive day today and managed to get my MOT prep done and managed to work on the car as well :)

Main job of the day was to try and fix the xenon which has an issue with blowing dipped headlight fuses as soon I tried switching them on. After whipping the bumper off it was obvious that the ballast was not in the best condition and the seals looked worn out. After taking it off and opening it up out poured a load of water and the circuit board was covered in gunk. Had to whack in a standard set of headlights until I can get myself another ballast :)

Also managed to de-wiper the rear and polish up the hardlines in the boot and its all coming along well :D MOT next Saturday so fingers crossed!

As usual pics were taken!

Tried a few things to remove the White mark but not having any luck :( any recommendations??
AutoGlym interior shampoo (the one you'd use to clean your dash etc) sprayed onto a soft cloth, I used this to clean my cone up and it removed a lot of the dust and grime etc (I have mine in my boot too) and did no damage to the sub itself.
