New driveshafts both sides in the last 4 months

Developed a slight clicking noise when driving straight, more noticeable at low speeds. Checked my CV's and everything is ok. Anyone got any other ideas?

Cheers

I've got a similar problem. Can't work out if its coming from a CV / the Driveshaft / or even possibly inside the gearbox. It started off as almost like a creaking noise and has quickly grown into a full on ticking / clicking sound.

Ths noise is noticeable when driving and seems to relate directly to the speed of the wheels rotating. Happens in both fwd and reverse gears. Less noticeable at high speeds, but I think this is probably due to whichever part is making the noise being under greater pressure and therefore less movement.

I got the car off the ground over the weekend and we figured out that it definitely happens when the wheels are rotated and the sound is coming from somewhere internal in the driveshaft / gearbox area and seems to be slightly louder on the driver's side, but we couldn't isolate it anymore than this.

Its pretty worrying if it could be coming form the gearbox. Does any one have experience with similar problem? Any ideas how to fix?
