Sounds like a speed sensor issue. Scan the car and see what turns up. Have you had any of the wheels off recently, for any reason?

Do you mean they had the wheels off and /or the speed sensors?

Basiclly the car thinks the wheels are skidding and as such brakes the wheels it thinks has traction and bypasses the throttle and takes the revs down from the engine.

If they took the speed sensors off and didn't seat them properly when they reinstalled them this can cause issues with the ASR/ESP. It's an easy job to check them which you should do because they may have also damaged them during thier removal and installation. Also check thier wiring cause something may have been knocked or broken during the turbo installation.

Best thing to do is take them out, check if they are damaged, if they're ok push them back in all the way to the end and then pull them back a fraction so they aren't right at the bottom of thier housing.

Try a scan but if it's a speed sensor issue I'm betting there won't be any codes thrown because the car will be behaving like it should do cause it thinks it's loosing traction. Have you tried turning your ASR off via the button in the dash? does this solve or lessen the issue in anyway?

The fault code is the 5 digit code next to the gobbledegook. Write the code.down and go to the Ross tech site and use their Wikipedia function to find out what the.codes are and report back here if you need more help.

I can see the letters asr somewhere in there so I'm putting my money on the speed sensors and possibly an abs pump fault which is more than likely a dodgey fuse connection on top of the battery box.

17965/P1557/005463 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation

Possible Symptoms

  • Reduced power output
  • Limp mode

Possible Causes

  • Boost Pressure too High
  • Hoses/Pipes incorrect connected, disconnected, blocked or leaking
  • Charger Pressure Control defective
    • VNT (variable nozzle turbo): nozzles stuck
  • Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) defective

Possible Solutions

  • Check Hoses/Pipes to/between Components
  • Check Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
  • Check / Clean / Replace Charge Pressure Control
    • Check / Clean mechanism for variable nozzles

18075/P1667 - Valve for Pump - Jet: Cylinder 2 (N241): Electrical Malfunction

Possible Symptoms

  • Irregular rpm

Possible Causes

  • Wiring and/or connections to/from the Valve for Pump Jet
  • Valve for Pump Jet

Possible Solutions

  • Check wiring and Check / Clean all connections
  • Replace the cable-tree to/from all the Valves for Pump Jet
  • Replace Valve for Pump Jet (replace them all !)

Special Notes

  • For each Valve the ECU checks the Begin of Injection Period (BIP) via a voltage. That voltage is very small (less than 0.0001A). Each extra resistance in the cable is fatal. So, in case of any doubt, just replace all cables.

01314 - Engine Control Module

01314 - Engine Control Module: No Communications

Possible Causes

  • CAN-Databus Wiring/Connectors from/to Engine Control Module faulty
  • Fault(s) stored in Engine Control Module
  • Engine Control Module recently flashed or re-mapped

Possible Solutions

  • Check CAN-Databus Wiring/Connectors from/to Engine Control Module
  • Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)
    • Usually Measuring Value Blocks (MVB) 125+ show the current Communication Status

01314 - Engine Control Module: Check DTC Memory

Possible Causes

  • Fault(s) stored in Engine Control Module

Possible Solutions

  • Check Engine Control Module for Fault Codes

Special Notes

  • Engine Control Module stored a Code which influences other Control Modules Functionality.
  • To clear this Fault Code you will need to correct the Problem in the Engine Control Module first.

    01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors

01135 - Interior Monitoring Sensors: Open Circuit

    Possible Causes
    • Wiring/Connector from/to Interior Monitoring Sensors faulty
    • Interior Monitoring Sensors not installed

    Possible Solutions
    • Check/Repair Wiring/Connector from/to Interior Monitoring Sensors
      • See Measuring Blocks
    • Check Interior Monitoring Sensors Installation

Looking at those, first thing I'd do is clear all the codes and then re-scan the car preferably using an english version of vagcom [;)]

The 01314 errors could be due to the clocks being out or battery disconnection, the one to look at is the firts one 17965 as that is normally sticking VNT, faulty N75, split vac hose or badly adjusted actuator mechanism.

You need to run some logs on measuring block 11, see the sticky VNT link in my sig [y]

As your turbo is new then the actuator might not be set up right rather than sticking VNT
