Thinking of a private number plate, but need to space the letters out for it to mean anything, so would I get away with this? The styling was just me playing around, but I quite like it!!

Original lettering and spacing is... R5 YGD

I have changed it to R5Y G D

Would I be better off having it as say R5Y GD....don't want a lot of hassle from the cops about it?

Oh my name is Graham David Ray, so it might make more sense to you now!

Cheers!

Have I missed something?! What you trying to say!?

I thought you meant it need to be RAY instead of R5Y but you mean AR5Y

Arsy GD?!

Again....[:'(]

The plate as it stands is meant to be....RAY GD because name is Graham David Ray, so Ray, Graham David.

I think I missed something that flew over my head very quickly...oh well, I shall return back to my innocence [:$]

I posted a few weeks back with a smilar query. My plate for the missus is J11 LKO, although I'm spacing it as J11LKO on the car (looks better in the flesh rather than a computer screen). It's her families nickname for her - weird lot[:$]. It's on the car but spaced for now (another story), but when the plate arrives hopefully tomorrow, it's going on the car without any spaces. Your one is slightly different, but still, you'd have to be pretty unlucky......I'd change that flag as well, defo get pulled[;)]

Digression (for a change):

The story was, I got the plate, straight away went onto fancyplates to get it made up, used the wrong constructor (ie the standard UK plates one) and it came with a space[:S] try again, almost 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for the plate, they reckon they sent it last Thursday[] Anyone else getting slow service from them??

They are getting until tomorrow's post then it's off to www.craigsplates.co.uk (any good??) for a next day delivery (need this by the weekend), unless anyone knows of somewhere in Berkshire area who can get me to sign a disclaimer type thing saying it's only a show plate (honest John here!), then i'm round the back fitting it[:p]

Reckon you'll be OK with it though mate. I saw an MPV yesterday with strong italics, spaced a lot worse than yours - can't believe they aren't getting grief it was TOTALLY illegible. The main thing is, they can still tell your number easy, so what's the prob??
