Been speaking to Dave at Justmatz he's mentioned he can do uk-mkvs custom plate surrounds.

Would any of you be interested in this? Let me know via this thread and I'll start getting numbers together for an order [Y]

Any pics?  How do they attach?  My plates are stuck on, not screwed.

Surrounds would come with either Red/white or Blue/white logo text. They can attach using either your existing screws, or sticky pads, for your plate - the plate then slides into the surround.

Cost is ?16 inc. postage, each.

See here for the last group buy we ran for the mkiv lot.

Lets go see how Beadles have attached mine, if they're screw ons, may be onto something (would readily get rid of the "Beadles Group" ones I have atm [])

EDIT: yup looks screwed - I assume the round bumps on the end of my plates are the screw covers - does anyone know if they're just like poppers and I can pop them off with careful use of a knife or similar thin instrument? []

Yes pop them off. Have with every other car I have had, can't see any reason for changing*
