I think there are a lot of highs for owning a bonnet bra and only one possible down side,lets take a look.

1.Stops a good percentage of stone chips to bonnet if not all.

2.Vises on the top of bra are meant to stop window screen and roof damage.

3.Stops all those bugs on the way to shows

We all know that most chips happen on longer journeys so it can just be used for them then take it of again,people have said to me that they are ugly and would rather have stone chips on the bonnet,i must admit i am a bit of a perfectionest and a show freak but i cant bear to see stone chips on cars,and i do a fair bit of judgeing at the odd show and i know that stone chips will lose you points,i know not everybody is bothered about the show scence but for those who are i would have thought these bras would be a must.

Let me know if your intrested i will see what i can do.

And i am also very intrested in your opinons on this subject.

If it's a show car I can see your point, I've seen a lot of show cars that don't even get used on the road (what a waste).

But to put one on a daily driver is pointless, they still get hammered and nobody gets to see how nice your ride looks.

Does anyone take all the car mats out when the buy a car and put cheap ones in before using, this is the same really.

I have 3 sets of car mats rubber for winter then normal for summer then my show ones and its not the same at all,some people like stonechips others dont,you do not have to wear the bra all the time and no they are not going to stop all chips and no they do not cover grill or bumper but its easyer and cheaper to paint bumper and grill then it is the bonnet etc.

As i am sure Tabs will agree they are not the prettyest things in the world but they are there to do a job and when you have spent good money on a car why wreck it with chips when there is something on the market to stop this.

There will always be people who hate these things but there are also people who will see the positive side to owning one of these even if it is a little ugly,even thou i have to say i think the bonnet bra is very nice and very good value.

I wear a special boiler suit, overboots and gloves in mine to keep the seats clean...

Sutherland mate that is the wrong approach entirely - imagine if some dust particles from your overshoes touched the car mats? Tut tut.

I've covered my ENTIRE interior with cling film. Its awkward looking through the windscreen sometimes but when I replace it daily BOY is it clean

Sorry guys but you are so annoying,for example someone said to you hear spray this on the inside of your car windows and all,and you will never have to clean it inside again i am sure you would do it,yet there is a bra that will stop your bonnet needing painting again and its a mass joke i really dont get u lot.

This is a prevention no a cure,it's not a permanent thing,just as and when required,christ it's not RS is it.

Dont know why i bother 4low

they arent a styling accessory. i dont know why so many people are dissing this. its made to protect your paint work, so many of you obviously dont give a crap about looking after that. that area of my bonnet is covered in stone chips so it would be handy for the likes of me, but right now i sadly cant afford one.

Hornet - Not forgetting the breathing tube stuck out of the window of course.

IMAGINE if your breath misted up the windows and made them steamy - The whole car could rot.

I also get the missus to unroll a carpet in front of the car as I drive. Slows me up a bit but saves the tyres.

I do see to a point but the full bras r really ugly and do take some putting on i just wanted something for the motorway easy on and of like this is 2 mins and shes done.

And if this cuts down on a few chips then its worth every penny,i new you guys would not like the full bra but i thought you would find this bra very unofensive.

Mike (4low), there seem to be just as many people in favour of this are there are 'dissing' it. What's the problem with people having a different opinion?
