As above, i have just got some money for my birthday and i would preferably get a double din stereo but with the price range i don't think i can[:(] But i am open to ideas on single din. It must have a pre-out for a subwoofer etc. Thanks, Shane.

I've just found this JVC double din on ebay, brand new from a audio company. It's about £200 ish pounds in halfords and is only £125 on here, is it good? Cheers.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JVC-KW-XR611-Double-Din-CD-MP3-WMA-Car-Stereo-Front-USB-/350390019129?pt=UK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_In_Car_Audio_Players_PP&hash=item5194df6439

I just upgraded my old sony for an alpine cde-113bt (single din), much better sound quality, pre-outs, bluetooth for phone, rear ipod connection, usb, aux in, really impressed actually but was £200, minus my discount thank god because i only wanted to spend half that lol, but ye anyway it's probably cheaper on ebay, i'd have a look for you but i dearnt incase its miles cheaper than what i paid lol might be worth a look though.

yeh cant beat an alpine single din. they is no better brand on the market imo. i would not bother spending £150 £200 on a DD unit as it will be cack.

The best budget DD head unit is the Pioneer avh 3200. i can vouch for this as i bought 1 nearly a year ago for £350 to save up for the Alpine DD i want thats £1500. I have since stayed with the Pioneer and added a load of bolt ons for it. Sounds, looks performs great.

Ill still get my Alpine 1 day, but for now im happy with the 3200.
