Can anybody recommend a reliable LED sidelight suitable for Xenon headlamps?

This is a H6W bayonet bulb instead of the usual W5W found in standard headlights.

Gary, I bought the same ones from ULTRALEDs.com too.

They lasted less than 2 weeks before failing! Make sure u don't throw away ur reciept!
I hope thats not the case as its a bumper off job every time!!

I have a dirty great Samco hose coming from my FMIC to the Throttle Body which is directly behind the headlight.

Its impossible to do!!!!!

Before the FMIC I did manage to change them in situ though [:D]

Hi Gary - I bought the same ones from UltraLEDS.com as well and fitted them just over 2 weeks ago. Hopefully they'll last but now I've probably tempted fate......see how it goes......Rgds - Aky

In one word.......Yes.

Previously I had the ones with slight blue in them and they didn't match the xenons, but these are a lot whiter and complement the xenons much better. It's all now a question of how long they last....

I have just fitted LED sidelights and am quite pleased with the difference to my outgoing Phillips Blue Vision sidelights.

LED - LHS , Phillips Blue Vision - RHS

one of my sidelight bulbs has gone, need to change but cant see how it can be done without takig bumper off, no bloody room, though have to admit those LED bulbs look so much cleaner with the xenons.

Just an update on the sidelight LED's I bought from UltraLED's..........

After replacing my 4500K Xenon lamps for 8000K lamps I noticed that out
of the cluster of six small LEDs that three had blown on each side.

This is now leaving a half lit three LED's instead of the full six [:(]

Due to having nothing else I have replaced them with Phillips Blue
Vision Sidelights which look stupid at the side of 8000K Xenons.

Luckily I kept the receipt and packaging for the LEDs (cheers Jace) and will get them back in the post to UltraLED's next week.

Any potential buyers - BEWARE - Don't buy these sidelights, many told me not too which was advice after I had already bought.

I had the same ones from UltraLeds and they lasted 1 week, couldn't be bothered sending them back, just chucked them in the bin.

I read somewhere that someone bought PIAA led bulbs...

I wonder how they are doing... and does anyone know if they will fit.

Not too keen on constant bumper removal.
