Not a big fan of....

4 speed MK1's and 2's; why did VW not introduce 5 speed sooner on the lower powered cars ?

2.slow MK4, why ? It was out of date when put that engine in the MK3.

Estate versions are fairly dire as well. The Passat estates pull it off well and in fact look really good in estate guise but any Golf just looks so wrong.

Are you lot blind? Thats obviously a picture of a model car.

But yes this model was made, it started life as a practical joke or
april fools if I remember correctly but there was that much interest in
the model they made it and still do in some countries I believe

There's a Harlequin Polo in my town, I think it's so cool! [Y] to VW for having the sense of humour to produce such a car [:D]

The only decent convertible VW made was the mark 1(my first car, Mark 1 Rivage, british racing green), apart from that particular model the others have all been shit.

my one. All plastics have been left in the sun to go brittle. Extra screws and been placed behind interior trim to rattle. The build quality is shocking. The paint quality is pants. The ECU failed. So did the turbo. And the electrics. The centre caps on the alloys corroded after 6 months.

EDIT - Oh, and the flywheel needs replacing too

Apart from that, its OK
