Try and drive examples - don't get sucked in by claims.

Remember too that chipped cars are harder to sell on whereas a good tuning box will give similar results and is easily removed at sale time.

Don't forget the other key difference from the 115 to the 130 - it's already been mentioned here but...

If you want to do the 312mm TT brake conversion then the 115 need complete hubs, calipers etc changing - the 130 only needs the caliper carriers.

It's all very well tuning the thing, but if it doesn't stop or handle then it's a pointless exercise. The 130 is a better basis for tuning as you can not only get more grunt but the brakes are easily upgradeable to the 312mm TT spec.

There's no difference between the 130/150 base engines, it's all ancilliaries. The 150 has different injectors/turbo/intercooler but is otherwise the same as the 130. The chassis has the sports suspension fitted as standard, but other than that they're very similar.

The 150 will easily produce a reliable 190bhp with a bit of tuning, some have had clutch issues with the torque but a 130 shouldn't have much difficulty.
