where to get uprated clutch for remapped 130pd? also uprated pressure plate?

I have been reading some old posts and the sachs organic clutch keeps popping up, I dont mind paying a few quid extra for a good clutch but wheres cheapets to get it from? also is it supplied with a stronger pressure plate? as a slipping clutch can be cured with a stronger pressure plate normally so no point having a higher friction clutch if the pressure plate wont clamp it any harder.

any other reccomendations? I want to stick with the dual mass fly wheel set up as the cars a daily drive, and will be doing 15 - 20k a year, I also use the car for towing once in a blue moon, normally my small caming trailer when going away but also once or maybe if im lucky twice a year towing the track car to trackdays.

cheers

Karl.

You may have read this then

After A LOT of research into this I recently fitted an uprated Sachs pressure plate together with an OEM clutch disc.

Much cheaper than the full Sachs kit and will handle up to 350lbs/ft torque, for a remapped TDI this is more than adequate.

However, if you're planning on a bigger turbo/injectors then I would probably go for the full Sachs organic clutch kit.
I posted it on another thread tonight as well [:D], you could try JBS, AMD R-Tech etc for starters [y]
hmm cant remeber if I read that or not.. I read aload of threads very late last night in to the small hours of the morning while trying to sort out my folks pc for them (what a rocking near years I had lol)

Ill keep a look out for a uprated sachs pressure plate then, cheers
stay with the dual mass on a diesel! there's a video on youtube of what happens when you go single mass on a diesel and it does not sound good! some where between john deere and massy ferguson
don't work I know the issues, hence sticking with the dual mass, esp when the transmission was designed with dual mass from the start, from talking to people within the industy I work in there was issues with certian van maker when they had issies with their new dual mass fly wheels... as a quick fix they put solid fly wheels back on and then after a few months started to get more and more vans coming back with tranmission issues where the viabrations passed on where destroying the gear boxes!

also I know they sound like a tank.. again not good on my daily... now does anyone have a supplier for this uprated sachs pressure plate and a part number?
I presume yours is a diesel! as you dont have your banner filled in. I think these are the part numbers copied from my build thread....this pressure plate and this organic clutch disc HTH
