Got the 32 up on Autotrader and here on the uk-mkivs classifieds - just wonedered if anyone knew of any other places I can advertise, pref. free?

there was a few sites i found when selling & looking for a splitscreen.

One was something like vwbuysell.co.uk

Free listing days on ebay are good too, must be the most viewed place around.

How do you get onto the free listings matey?

They occasionally have free listing days, they email you to tell you when.

Ebay is a good bet mate, People seen mine on ebay then called me up and bought it. Believe the same happened with Foxy? Rally Chris perhaps too?

Hmmm always been wary of selling a car on Ebay, theres one other R32 up for sale on there at the moment as well but that ends in about 4 hours!

Whats involved with selling the car on Ebay?

Awesome gti will also advertise, but i assume at cost.

I'd stick with the Autotrader if i were you, it's the place everybody looks first..

Would buy it myself but would probably (no, definately!) cost me my relationship!

Tabs it will cost you a little extra but you can put the same ad as the auto trader into Top marques, but you get it as an add on rate which isnt to bad, cant remember the price though.

Well, picked up a copy of Autotrader today and it was like 'Dude where's my car?' - they'd only gone and forgotten to put the photo in!!!!

Been onto them and they're running the ad for another week FOC - tempted to ask for inclusion into Top Marques just for the hell of it too.

Had my first Canvassing (sp) call this morning as well... lol

Tabs, ebay will more than likely get your car sold and usually at over the the asking price too so its worth losing the percentage you have to pay for listing and final auction fee. Anyway you can put a reserve price and if it doesnt sell you just lose out on listing fee but u get another chance to sell it again for free. Being a R32, I wouldnt think you have problems shifting it on eBay. When my car is finally for sale (i.e. after wedding next month) it'll be on eBay.

No cash price, just a straight P/X against a high spec MK5 GT TDI. Did consider it but I need to lower my outgoings so need a cash sale. Also got offered an Anni but they mas as well have been comedians with the cash back they offered.

Lowered the price on Autotrader again - lol must the descriptive text thats scaring people away []

I always chuck my cars in Loot on a free ad as well as Autotrader.

Local paper classifieds get decent attention too.

Given the car, I think Top Marques and eBay are your best bet as its a sought after car. It just doesnt stand out in things like Loot and Autotrader as I think you're not targeting the right audience.

Tabs, "lowering outgoings", like I said the other month hahahah.
