Where is lambda sensor Bank 1 sensor one on a mk4 r32 please?

Hi All,

I've an error code b1 s1 lambda probe failure, i've ordered a new one but is there a logical way of establishing which one bank one is and which is sensor one, i know there are 4 sensors and i'm going to assume that sensor one will be before the cat but not sure which is bank 1?

Hi there,

Your car is the V6 3.2 Litre R32,

Bank 1 Sensor 1, I would assume would be the Exhaust Branch from Cyls 1-3, you are correct when you say it would be "Pre-cat" , hope this helps?
