Why fix something that isn't broken? The standard GTI looks great imo; that car in the photo makes me think..chav..sorry but not a fan of lowered cars at all. Not sure about black wheels..

A lone voice here - I think they look awful. Black wheels, in my opinion always do. Sorry to disagree!

No, I don't like them either [^]

Should've left the red trim on the grill alone, its about 20mm too low and the wheels are the wrong colour.

Reminds me of a silver VW Derby I used to own. I painted the wheels gloss black (Dulux I think?) and added chrome trims round the rim (off a Capri, if I remember rightly). I thought it looked the danglies, but then that was over 15 yrs ago![:)]

i really like that, i actually really like black wheels with a polished outer lip especially on a dark car!

maybe the front is a bit much, would probably look better when the plate was put back on!

that looks spot on IMO [!].

I am not sure if/how they have achived the siler edge on the wheels, as there is no lip to speak of.

It is obviously pretty low and i assume using spacers in the rear. I would imagine some rubbing in the rear unless it's had some arch mods.

Looks like the skirts are still unpainted though in the last pic, they should be colour matched, I think the rear would look ok with the contrasting valance.
