I have seen the Khartoum wheels in this link which have been powder coated + the car is Steel grey same as mine and had the rear bumper top half painted - what do you guys think?

Why fix something that isn't broken? The standard GTI looks great imo; that car in the photo makes me think..chav..sorry but not a fan of lowered cars at all. Not sure about black wheels..

Should've left the red trim on the grill alone, its about 20mm too low and the wheels are the wrong colour.

Reminds me of a silver VW Derby I used to own. I painted the wheels gloss black (Dulux I think?) and added chrome trims round the rim (off a Capri, if I remember rightly). I thought it looked the danglies, but then that was over 15 yrs ago![]

i really like that, i actually really like black wheels with a polished outer lip especially on a dark car!

maybe the front is a bit much, would probably look better when the plate was put back on!

that looks spot on IMO [!].

I am not sure if/how they have achived the siler edge on the wheels, as there is no lip to speak of.

It is obviously pretty low and i assume using spacers in the rear. I would imagine some rubbing in the rear unless it's had some arch mods.

Looks like the skirts are still unpainted though in the last pic, they should be colour matched, I think the rear would look ok with the contrasting valance.

Hideous abomination IMO. Far too low, black wheels look rubbish and the front grill is all messed up
