As most people are now looking into trying to get better mpg now fuel prices are rising and rising it would be interesting to see what people run their tyres at. If your running standard wheels it obviously tells you on the inside of the fuel cap what to run at, but if your running aftermarket alloys, or alloys from a different car what pressures are you running?

I have TT Ronals on 225/45/R17 tyres, running 28 up front and 26 at the back.

normally 32 psi front and rear. Have done this on both 225/40/18's and my temporary 205/55/16's. Def need to be at least 32 psi otherwise they look soft. Any thots others?

p.s. with my bmw it was recommended to put 40-ish in the front tyres (225/40/18) and 49 in the back ones (255/35/18) [:O]

Mine are at 33psi, (2.3 bar?) I also have the TT ronals... and at the recommended pressure the front looked a bit flat.
The place i got my tyres fitted at pumped them up to about 2.5 bar, which is 37psi ish...

I did have them at 3 bar at one point, but the ride was pretty bad. I don't think there's anything to be gained economy-wise by putting too much air in the tyres though..
