opinions requested, what type of tyre dressing do you put on yer tyres.

At the mo I have been just using a turtlewax aerosol type. Looks good for about 10 mins then just seems to dry out.

Maguiars Tyre gel works a treat, apply with a foam aplicator pad (wearing latex gloves helps keep your nails clean [:I])

Lasts for about 2weeks too[:)], & it doesnt spin off like some stuff, all up the side of your freshly waxed paint[:(]

I used to use Turtle Wax aerosol but didn't like the amount of overspray, even though the tyres looked good. So I bought some Autoglym Tyre Dressing a few weeks ago and it's pants! Even more overspray and doesn't make the tyres as black as the Turtle Wax one.

same for me, prefer putting it on with a brush, so it doen't go over the alloys etc, but it doesn't last long gets washed off with surface water when it's raining

also use meguiers stuff aswell[:D]

Zymol Tyre

Or

Turtle Wax Extreme Tyre Gel

I prefer the look that the Zymol gives (natural), but the Turtle Wax seems to last longer.

Agreed Turtle wax extreme (in the lurid green plastic bottle) is excellent.......and is better than autoglym which I used in the past. However, I clean the brake dust off my wheels and re dress them every couple of days[:O][:I]....saddo

Value for money you can't beat it particularly when Halfords do their periodic buy one get one free offer, I just stock up!

Turtle wax gel for me a bottle of the stuff seems to last for ages and when applied it is good for at least a week, you just have to make sure you rub it in well so it does not splatter the side of your car.

Oh and I dont know if anybody else has noticed but it last longer every time you apply it.
