Right I have a silver three door 4motion and want to upgrade the wheels
(again) and cannot decide what to buy.... so can anyone give me any
pics or opinions,

I want to stick to the OEM plus as it will be easier to sell, either the car complete or the rims themselves.

What are peoples on these rims as replicas? how do they hold upto
buckling? are they heavy? I know they can have a detrimental effect to
MPG on a diesel, howabout on a 4motion?

I used to have MTM reps and they were fine. Just need to keep them
clean as the dust sticks like poop to a blanket on them. I never really
noticed any real effect on MPG tbh, as they were lighter than my 19s
[;)] but they felt lighter than my Monty 1s too.

Mine was a Silver 3 door 1.8T, and I'll post a pic for you as soon as Picture Trail is back up.

This is vaguely on topic, but sorry for jumping in the thread. After
seeing a decked MK4 GTI on RS6 replicas this weekend, i've decided that
they are the route i'm going to take when I have some money!

Wheres the best place to buy a set from? Are the eBay ones ok or are
they worth avoiding, and if so where is the place to get em from?

Thanks! :)

I'd go for the R32's every time but thats my opinion. I hav them on my motor and think they look great. The anniversary edition alloys look good tho.... Dont get copy alloys cos i've heard so many stories about buckled wheels cos there made from cheap stuff.
