I can confirm that the two pictures you have foun Nudda are the new Passat keys (one pic is one side and the other pic is the other side).

My 'old man' has just ordered a brand new Passat so I will post up some pics when available.

It sure is a lovely car though!!

Thanks mate. Yup ive heard the new passat is much much better than the

Yep, you just slot it into the hole and then push it to start the engine I believe.

The new Passat has loads more toys than that though!!

Electronic Handbrake for one, wicked!!
hmmm.......... lots of elec toys + VW + dealers = LOTS of hassles & problems

Yeah totally agree dude, never heard of any problems especailly associated (?) will the golf mk4, especially the coli packs, fans, brake lights, windows dropping, MAFs, Wiper fluid leaking on to the alarm there just examples of the golfs more stronger points shall we say!

Its a shame nothing goes wrong though to be honest as the dealers offer such a friendly, CHEAP and just perfect service! LOL

Electronic handbrake? You're kidding right?! I hate the damn things, had one in the hire car a couple of weeks ago, nightmare in traffic situations and even worse for handbrake turns because it clamps the front wheels rather than the back (well, did on the megane anyway!)
