After having a lovely day at the london meet & meeting some nice people i was so upset to see this mark and dent in my bonnet.

I know for a fact it wasnt there earlier today as i would have noticed it as i was looking at my bulbs earlier, it must have happened once we were in the pub during the liverpool & man u game as a few of the other guys were leaving.

I know this isnt a stone chip as if it was i would have heared it for it to cause that much damage ( i dont even drive with the music on).

This is the last thing i needed as ive only just had the bonnet resprayed as there was a dent from the previous owner, looks like its going to have to be done again.

Someone must have seen something & if they did i would appreciate it if they told me.

not good - sorry to see that mate. Definately not a stone chip, a friend of mine drove into a van and had very similar damage on his polo so this is definately intentional ! Having said that, it will be very difficult catching the culprit ...

Indeed it does look like somethings fallen onto it from above rather than thrown up from the road in front.

If it was someones doing I hope they are crapped on from a great height in the very near future.

I was parked next to Adi on the right.

Was just a really nasty thing to have happened. I mean was it an accident or what? Did i annoy or do anything to upset someone??? You guys met me, its not like im some kind of idiot or anything.

i was about to say "what was parked in front of you".........

but i can see it was another golf......as it looks like it would of almost been something high like a van leaving it in gear and stalling back onto your bonnet if you see what i mean....

I'm terribly sorry to hear about this.

You car was parked well away from my R32 in the corner and I was watching all the cars. I don't remember seeing anything (like those horse carts near your car).

Yeah 100% wasnt there before, I was admiring my bulbs before i left the house this morning.

What a joke ay, would happen to me. Not looking forward to gettin another bonnet respray within 2 months of the last one.

Words cant describe how upset i am, i know it may not seem like much bet when youve saved LONG & HARD to get something you want and spend all that money getting it perfect some buthole has to go ruin it! If only it was a bit lower so i'd only need a grill.
