... fairy liquid ! Ive tried quite a few shampoos recently but nothing
performs as well as fairy liquid !! Just want to know its not bad for
the paint is it ? If its "gentle on the hands" then im sure it wont do
anything topaint lol

It's good if you want to take all the wax / other products off in preparation for some paint or a fresh coat of wax.
For regular use - it's not the best, contains salts and all sorts of nasties.

Washing up liquid is never gentle on your hands, that's propaganda, just try using it regularly without gloves and your skin will dry up and crack. Wouldn't recommend it for regular use on your car, only for prep work.

yer its bad , and when u stop washing ya car with it , ya wax still isnt safe , watch out for those ....... who top up their washer bottles and dont adjust there jets[]

Used to use washing up liquid when i had a white car because it seemed to strip it back to pure white again. It must be corrosive ! I stick to car shampoo now tho, and dont need to wax as much

full of silicones thats why, ideal car shampoo, more or less the same chemical make up of some wash and waxes.
