Was just round to my dealer collecting some parts and noticed they had
just got an R32 in, so thought I'd take some pics, it had just literally come in so was getting a clean. Have to say
they look pretty plain in the flesh, nothing too special, but they do
have a nice exhaust note!

What bits was that [:p]

Agreed it doesn't look anything special there, the interior must have been quite nice though?

Just boring bits im afraid mate, a new lambda probe, N75 and coolant
expansion tank sensor. Yeah the interior was nice, looked good quality
and classy.

Does nowt for me, especially not in that colour.

The tail pipes also look weedily small.... its got a 3.2 in it for gods sake, give it some girth!! [:D]

Really don't get the styling on the new R32.

Half of the chrome grill is covered by the number plate holder ffs!

Don't even start me on the rear.

Let's hope the concept pics of the MK6 are a reality!!

Yeah I was looking at one today in Chester.

Very disapointed in it really...

More Renault Clio sport than an expansion on the R32 concept from the MKIV. Makes the MKV GTI look superb!

Looks like I'm still sticking with my MKIII and MKIV GTIs.

I had a nosey at one in Smith knight Fay Stockport, have to say in silver it does look very plain and i'm really not a fan of the twin exhausts in the flesh, too close together and the pipes are too small....

The interior however was fantastic imo.... [Y]

Exactly the reason why I would consider one, I owned a VR6 new back in 1993 and loved the fact that it was so understated and a real "Q" car, the MkIV R36 was too flashy for my tastes the MKV looks superb, black with black leather and de-badged....yummy!!!!

I've seen a bright blue one and a black one. I think it looks good in black, very understated. But not so keen on it in blue. I like the Q-car factor but as a styling exercise, the GTI is way better. I thought the interior could do with something extra too - neither car had the Recaros and it would need those to begin to feel special.

I like it, although I'd rather spend 28k on the
phaeton next to it, esp if it was the V10 diesel[:)]
I was gonna say the same...But it will be a 3.2 V6 for that money.
However at only 5MPG less than the V10 TDI, if performance isn't an
issue you can spend the ?15,000 you saved over a V10 for petrol! R32
looks good, but more conservative than the last one. Can see it
appealing to a different market to the GTI this time around.
