Warning: thick question...

Hi people

I was plain lazy, and had my coilovers fitted at a friend's garage early last year. Although the front is nice and low, the back isn't, and I want to take it down (I swear the springs have grow, it looks much higher than it did!). I've had a look at the rear adjusters and they are about halfway, so got a few more turns in them...

So, thick question: which way do I need to wind them to lower them? Down or Up? My thinking was that if I wound them up it would compress the spring therefore making it shorter = low. But I bet thats wrong.... And is the adjuster the only part that I will need to adjust? I'm sure it is but wanted to make sure.

Now i've just got to order a C-spanner 'cos I lost mine when I moved house.... [facepalm]

the adjuster is a spring seat, it simply adjsut the height the spring sits at, it doesn't compress the spring at all.

set it lower to make the car lower, fair play for saying it was gonna be a thick question.

A simple rule with coilovers,is wind it down to lower it,wind it up to raise it.

I'm not fussed about mega low, i'm going to leave the adjusters in. With the amount of thread left to wind DOWN, it's going to go down about the amount I want, so i'm happy with that. I think. Can't have it mega low anyway as in it's current state it's only half an inch away from not being able to get off the drive... It's lower than it was so thats the main thing!
