Should've fitted it yerself!!

I got mine sprayed up by vw for ?85 and spent a couple of hours fitting it with the

included gluey stuff. Bit tedious, but if they charging you ?90 to fit, must be worth

the effort. I guess it's a bit late now though and at least you won't have that 'orrible

black gungy stuff stuck all over you fingers like I did!!

not amused!!.

it went in yesterday......

for what i thought was a ONE day visit, i phoned them, and asked if there were any problems, at about half threee, and also asked if it would be ready for half five......to which the reply of a long silence came.....no was the eventual answer!!!

so.....i had a barney with the bodyshop manager, and demanded a courtesy car.....

he tell me he aint got any......so i say well, i need a car....

so he gets c0cky, and says "well, we can have a car for you tonight, your car, we can take the spoiler off, and you can take that away"

to which i replied...........ok then.....

so they took it off and i took my car home.....

so, its in again today, and i'm collecting it in the morning.........ready for essex meet!

without sounding the bringer of dooom... er?

its always best to leave it for at least 24 hours to make sure the paint/glue is set... you dont want your spoiler dropping off 2 months later and losing it

i agree the VW price is expensive...but not overly if the job is done right
