After topping up a little bit of coolant, I had trouble starting this morning, kept
spluttering and not quite starting after 3 or 4 tries. Made sure all the ht leads and everything was secure and tried
again then boom it started fine first time? I've driven it since and started
fine each time, anyone know what it could of been? So strange...

Yeah I didnt think it was anything to worry about but I start a new job on tuesday so cant afford for it to not start!

give all the leads a good spray with wd40 see if it helps.

Just spray it over the ht leads, how about round the coilpack? Wouldnt that just make it wet though?

wd40 displaces water so it should be ok over all the leads.

WD40 on leads is a big fail. WD40 is good for connections i.e. electrical connections to displace water but not to be used on rubber.

WD40 rots rubber and breaks it down.

Use a proper spray like Easy Start or Wet Start/Cold Start by Holts.

I didnt spray them on the leads as that wouldnt really gain any benefit. Just each end at the coil pack and the plugs end.

It's not a major issue anyway, so Im not going to bother getting the easy start/ cold start stuff. Thanks for the tips anyways.
