does anyone know how much the front and rear v6 valances are from the stealers, or any other websites that sells them,

i just want the black ones to get sprayed up to put on my boring golf because it flash red and looks gay

My rear valance cost about ?42 inc VAT from the dealer. Im sure the front valance is the same price.

Dont forget they will need smoothing b4 plastic primer and paint bud...

Yes can do the flatting yourself, and it will save you a pretty penny... it is time consuming but worht the saving... the will do the final prep (primer and paint)... am tacling this job myself on exactly these splitters. []

I picked up my valance from the local stealers for ?32 inc VAT. Make sure u do get the valance smoothed any decent bodyshop will do it.

They had mine in stock the last one there ring them up and ask them they might have one or they will have to order it in, they usually have next day deliveries anyway.

v6 fronts are all ways 5mm short on each side.

but when i had front bumper off to put new smooth one on had to take vallance off old bumper and noticed why they never go on right.

so when you put new one on i would advise taking front bumper off

flip it over on a piece of carpet so it dont scatch

then you can see all clips and make sure they all go in right,

its the end ones to watch as these stretch and pull the bumper in properly.

bugger, they phoned me this morning, and only the front one had ben delivered, so now ive got to wait till tuesday to pick them both up, i thought it was going too well,

another thing is is it best to fit them first and then get then painted or can they be gone seperate and fit them after painting,

as i dont want to loose my car for a couple of days if i can help it, or will they flex too much, and not look right when fitted?

get them done before fitting.

gave mine straight to JBS to do all the work.

went down week later to have them put on the car

took 20 mins to fit.

?200 for all work on both valances and i had lower grills done too.

also had tow eye welded and smoothed over as it doesnt line up.

are you getting new exhaust to fill cut out?
