well it happend again , lost my engine due to the camblet breaking while i was driving on the motorway and now i have been told that i need a new engine , but i have looked everywhere and its hopeless .

so need help with finding a decent 1.4 engine for my mk4 2000 with axp engine code

anyy one selling a top condition one or any suggestions ?????

There's several online breaker yard search sites, enter your details in to a few of those and wait for the e-mails and calls to flood in! This way you'll be able to quote and haggle for a good delivered price. Google something like search car spare parts.

Ebay? Unfortunately due to the weak nature of these engine I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't many about.

How bad are the pistons after the belt snapped? Sometimes you can get away with the dents left in the pistons.
