How much would you pay for a mint full Recaro leather interior for a 5 Door Golf?

Need comments asap please guys and girls...

If it includes door cards etc.. then I would say upto £1k if you really want it.

But around £800 would be fair.

£600-800 dependant on condition I'd say (assuming black)

£500-600 if beige

I'd say £500-700 if its all there and in good nick. I paid about £400 extra for a car with it fitted, as opposed to cloth

Cloth Recaros are worth around £400 and leather Recaro's I would say £800+. £600-700 would normally only get you the sports leather seats.

As already said though Beige leather recaros go for much less, seen these for as little as £400.

Bear in mind a leather retrim would be £1000 but you wouldn't have the old seats to sell and you wouldn't have the heated elements.

Including selling your old interior the cost to change is only £400-600 which seems ok to me.

BTW I assume this isn't for you as I thought you had a 3dr?

Well i was thinking about swapping the covers over and just getting the slight trim mod for the tilt lever done...

Right I see! Rear seats will be a straight swap as a 3dr interior will fit a 5dr so should work the other way. Not sure how easy it'll be to swap the covers on the fronts also don't forget you'd need to swap the heating elements over (unless yours already are). I take it you won't need door cards then, should be a bit less without Door cards or if you have to get them they should sell on eBay or here.

Are these from a breakers or private?

If I had the money I'd be very interested. Try Joey (Liquorice) as he's been on the lookout for an interior for a while. Also GaryM was recently thinking of getting the Recaro Leather interior.

Ah, so you have a set, Personally I would value them at around...erm

As for the seats, a Recaro Leather interior is ?2,050 on the options list and Recaro UK won't sell OEM seats - there are nice aftermarket ones (See below) close to the stock look at ?600 each, but you can't easily get the OEM stuff.

So combine high cost, high demand and rarity and Id say a good full MK4 black leather Recaro interior in mint conditon would be worth ?800-?1,000. You will have no problem selling these...as has been said even sports seats in leather would be ?650 ish
