Upgrade brakes on my Revo'd Gti

I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on my Gti, the 288mm brakes aren't up to the job anymore,

I have 2 choices

1- Get an octavia vRS 312mm kit which can be got for peanuts

2- A set of brembo's,not sure whether to get a set of LCR's or Boxster S calipers,

I've been looking on ebay and they seem to differ in prices, I'm not 100% sure what I need to do this conversion, I've searched but can't get a definite answer anywhere,

I was looking at these set's on ebay, what else would I need to fit?

Do I need to change brake line's etc?

Any help appreciated.....

Which discs and pads would you recommend?

Would I need to get new carriers aswell or would the originals be ok?
if you go for the 312mm option you can use your gti calipers, you just need to change the hangers, discs and fit new pads.

But for stopping power you might need to go bigger..the 312's are just a bigger disc and the heat gets displaced a bit quicker..but the pads are the same size as the 288's
i've got mintex discs and pads, perfectly fine i know mine is standard but works well with full car and boot full
