Tyre markings help.

Looking at some wheels on the net and the picture of the tyre markings on the side wall isn't very good.

Emailed him a few times about them and he's quite incompetent.

It says 245/40 and then I'd expect it to say '19' or 'R 19' as they are 19's.

This is what it looks like..

245/402S1

Could be 245/40Z91 or 245/40251 though..

Does this mean anything to anyone?

I will get a picture up in a moment...

just did a search, are they falcon tyres? its the only info i found is on falcon with z after the numbers+
I reckon they're 245/ 40 Z speed rating 91 load rating. The diameter must be elsewhere.

Not sure mate, thanks for looking into it.

Yeah that makes sense actually, reckon your right. Isn't Z speed rating 150 mph?

Would put smaller tyres on them if I got them anyway, was just curious as the listing seems a bit dodgy.

Cheers guys
What make are they supposed to be Matt as I've never seen markings like that on any tyres? If there's any doubt then just walk away, they'll always be more for sale somewhere else that haven't been messed with.

Chris.
I've emailed him asking but no reply as of yet.

Yeah I know, its just if everything is fine I've found a little gem for the price they are! But I think I'll go have a look at them in person. [Y]
They look like Goodyear Eagle tyres. The A and the G are the same as this pic of a Goodyear.

I was thinking Goodyear Eagles as well as the only ones with those two letters like that, but they still have conventional markings i.e. 245/40ZR19.That's 100% definately not right and if it seems too good to be true,it always is[:(].

Chris.

P.S.Thought you had 18s on your car?

Strange... Well thanks for the help. Ended now and I didn't bid. Were mad cheap for porka's!

Yeah I do, but feeling a change. Wasn't planning on 19's it's just because they were nice and within my budget.

Cheers guys!
