I currently run Continental Premium Contact 2 's, they
provide excellent grip, low noise but rather soft and my heavy Golf eats
them quite quickly. I do a daily slow commute sat in traffic, drive
down twisty lanes with poor surfaces (the fun part) mainly. They've lasted 18 months, 14k, not as bas as I first thought but still need to get 4 new tyres.

I'm trying to decide what to get as need to replace all 4. I've
seen a few recommenced on here but they tend to be for Golf GTI's, not
slow TDI SE 100bhp's ! Without going to 'Eco' tyres I was thinking;

Bridgestone B250

Yokohama A349

Or stick to what I know and accept the excellent grip is because they are soft.... any thoughts ? Thanks
