Ive been sent this pic from someone and am trying to identify which year it was made in. So far Ive been told its a Merc E-class and nothing more.

I need to know if its the newer shape or the old one ... can I have a vote of year you think this car is made in. Not a very clear pic but thats the best Ive go.

Looks like possibly the E class before the bug eye one came out in 1996.

could be wrong though

yup i agree with ricardo - look like a late version of the 90-96 e class. dark clusters on the back suggests a 95 or 96 maybe!

To me that looks like a W124 200-300 series. This would date it approximately 1986-1993. My guess is it's a 90 onwards model, It looks like it may have the diamond cut 10 hole wheels, but (to my eye at least) still has yellow tailights.

That's a post 93 facelift W124 model; rear lights are red/grey and chrome strip around top of bumper was fitted on late 93>95 cars.

Rivage is right is most prob an E220. according to mrs tinter i'm a merc geek. i worked as a valeter for 5 years as a valeter and still shudder when thinking about polishig e's and S classes

I worked on them and for me it's e class probably a 200 and m/n reg so 95/96.

When i 1st looked at the picture i thought it was a C180 with hub caps.

But as so many people are saying E class i'd say it a 1989 E200 with hub caps.

My guess is a Mercedes W124 after the facelift, when it became the E Class and not the 300E etc. Puts it at early to mid nineties. Back when Mercedes were built like Mercedes, unlike today....
