Just to confirm the order it all goes back together ?

I have a standard front setup all standard and planning on changing the top mount and bearings both side. The guides I read are confusing.

To see if I understand this right is this correct:

remove top cap, undo 21mm nut with spark plug socket and 7mm allen key. Remove wheel and jack up that side. Then compress spring. jack up more. Undo remaining nut to remove top mount and bearing, replace as it went on. Put that n ut back on, aim it back though the hole and lower car, then p[ut the top plate and nut back on. Remove spring compressors making sure the spring it seated properly at top and bottom. Is that right ?

Or do you have to remove the strut completely from the car ?

and just to confirm the order of parts go back ?

only I could get confused about something straightforward¬!

thanks
