I have a tom tom xl classic which is connected to the the cig lighter socket with a trialing wire as I have my sat nav to the right of the steering wheel.

It has a poor battery life this unit about about only 2.5 hours So I have to keep it on charge whilst in use.

Is there is a way to have a neater more permanent type solution instead of a trailing wire over the steering wheel to the sat nav.

Thanks :)

Any car accessory shop should sell them with wires already attached, ground to the right of the steering column and +ve to any of the solid reds via an inline fuse holder.

Chris.
