Just bought i set of lowering springs of rmy golf and was thinking of fitting them myself. I know the back two are handy enough as i've done them before but not too sure about the front. Can anyone give me any advice before i start it? Maybe there is a tutorial on here on how to do it?

Cheers

you'll need:

16/17/18/19/22 socket and spaners, hammer, axel stands/ramp buzz gun

get the car on the ramp, take wheels off,

undo the abs sensor with a t25 torx screw and pull the wires off the strut,

then indo the drop link to wish bone

undo the bolt on the back of the sturt and then hammer the hub off the strut,

then undo the topmount with a buzz gun,

passanger side is easy drivers side has a thicker drive shaft, so sometimes you need to drop part of the wish bone/subframe down

if you have not got the "right" tool for getting the strut undone, you are best using a spark plug type box spanner so that you cna put allen key in top of strut to keep it straight while you try and turn spark plug box spanner with normal spanner on flats.
