With the pics on tyrestretch.com being unreliable imo,i thought it was about time we had a thread dedicated to tyre stretch.Be it extreme or mild stretch,it'll give people an insight of how a tyre will sit on a wheel they might consider buying.

Please only post if you know for a fact that the wheel and tyre specs are correct.

I've now added links to a tyre stretch calculator,enjoy[:D] When inserting the wheel width use the overall width,if your wheel is 9J put 10J into the calculator.

Proof that you can't stretch on a 7.5!
True,even your first pic has tyre poke.This thread will be good to show how different tyre's stretch on the same width rim.

Background wheel lying down is a 225/40/18 Yoko Prada on 18x8j

Wheel on car is a 215/40/18 Falken FK452 on 18x9j
