As has just been pointed out, and realised by some of us the next Bristol Meet is meant to be next Sunday (5th June). From this thread:

Mike (EstorilBlue) hasn't been around for a while so we need to try and sort something as I would think that next weekend would be short notice for a lot of people.

There were some questions as to whether we should move the location of the meet to somewhere with a pub and maybe a beer garden so there is a more relaxed felling to the meets, and we're not just walking around from car to car etc. What do people think about this and does anyone have any ideas for locations? Or should we just keep the same location at cribbs for this meet and see what happens?

So we need some suggestions for a date and a location if the current one is out of favour. Please register your interest here and any ideas

I hope no one minds me trying to sort this out and sorry Mike if you were going to post something.

Well done that man! Stick me down and I can do this weekend (5th) or most weekends with notice, sundays anyway.

Not really fussed where we go, the trouble with a pub is we woul dhave to first get their permission to hog their car park and secondly, let them know most of us would be drinking coke, so don't think they would appriciate it too much! It's a good idea though.

Don't really care where we go to be honest.

Would be nice to get lots of people this time, so please anyone who can come, come!!

there is a pub in aztec west, the black sheep? good access from the M5 and has a big garden. and not far from cribs!

i think it would be best to organise a place to meet up rather than meet at cribs and move on later as some people may not know where to go if they arrive late.

The problem is even if you bump this thread it doesn't show on the forum because the regional meets bit on the main page is never up to date.  I reckon, like you said Graham, if we can get 10 then go ahead, if not then try and arrange another date.  What does everyone else reckon?

a mate of mine with a 225 TT would like to come along too and another date would suit him better as he has some tae kwon do seminar this w/e in swindon so can't make it.

Bumping the thread gets it to the top of active topics which gives it more exposure which is what we need at the moment.

Blue, I'm quite happy for the TT to come along! More the merrier.

I propose that we keep this running until Friday, if we haven't got more than 10 by friday, we call it quits and think up another date. What's everyone else feel?
