WRX? with mods to STI or not? EJ25 is a good engine with loads of potential, but likes to destroy headgaskets, seals etc, but when it's al fine.. it's a proper drivers car.

WRX with the PPP. Only STi thing about it is the spoiler currently sitting on the back seat that kirsty insists on having.

That's an EJ20, couple of years too early for a 2.5...

bit better but still the same but if it's not pushed to hard with mods it should be solid.. good find look like it's been taken care off.. most i've went to view i walked away because of to much rust or to much work needed to be done to the engine... I also don't like how spartan the interiors are (look and feel) compared to other cars from the same era, but that said not many come close to how well those wrx's drive on any given surface. Plus that boxer engine note is just nice for a 4 banger...

What shocked me was how many dodgy sellers.... the same car was sold in Leeds for 3695, for sale near Newcastle for 2395 and for sale in Dudley for 3895 all at the same time.

One bloke had owned his for 3 years, means he bought it in 2019.
Yet the previous owner had it from 2013 to 2021.
He tried to say he bought it in '19 but reg'd it to trade only putting it in his name in '21 so he could put his private plate on it.
HPI check indicated it'd had no plate changes. But had lost ~450 miles between 2 mot's.
Miraculously it was sold and subsequently put back up for sale, using all the same pictures, under a different seller name.

it is one of the reasons i didn't get one in the end... so many dodgy sellers or dodgy histories, but ask me if i wouldn't mind an scooby WRX estate? fuck yeah and STI even better will i though knowing how dodgy most are? nope.
