can anyone help me?? im looking to add a bit more oomph to my car (before a remap) and ive seen that some people have used van injectors. what are the Ads/ Disads of using them?? and how much extra do they actually give??

is it as simple as swapping them on my oil burner?? (110bhp, AHF engine No.) for the .216 versions??

also, does anyone know the part No. for a set?? and how many are there?? 4?? as the YTS boys in my stealership parts desk can hardly wipe their own arse let alone "look numbers up" so i thought id play it safe and ask on here first.

cheers guys, sorry for all the questions

That sounds like a good mod to do, and i would be intersted also, reckon it could be pricey though, bet it would hit the MPG really badly too...

that GB sounds good - would defo consider it!!

a remap is required mind you as you wont be utilising the full potetial of the injectors

you may as well go on ebay.de and get yourself a VNT17 (IIRC) pd150 turbo

they go for ?100-250 depending how lucky you are!!

if you really keep your eyes peeled, ?1000 will get you to 200bhp on a GT TDI 110

injectors

pd150 turbo

larger fuel pump

pd150 FMIC

Hi all the injectors for the T4 are 0.216 , early 5 cylinder van.

The ones on the EBAY link are the WRONG ones they are for the newer type t4.

The 0.216 puts in a lot of fuel and will smoke a lot.

If you have the AHF 110 like mine the way to go is a larger 11 MM fuel pump from

any 90 or 110 tdi Automatic car, Your standard fuel pump is 10 mm by the way.

Part number 038 130 107 J or Jx on the end for the 11 MM pump.

And just change the fuel injector nozzles to franco bozio PP 520 nozzles like these.

They will cost you £155 delivered.

You can get more information on how to install injector nozzles by clicking on the link below

http://pics2.tdiclub.com/pdf/injector_install_howto.pdf

Powerplus 520 Injector Nozzles (set of 4)

And get the turbo from the 130 tdi VNT 17.

And then get yourself a good remap and you will be looking at 170 to 180 bhp.

hope this clears things up.

Hi ,yes a ALLARD one.

Best £700 that i have spent on the car.

But as you can fit it yourself you are looking at about just over £500.

very nice kit.

Any of you wanting a cheaper and easier option for gaining more power on the 110's (or any diesel) then get a Boxsystem tuning box from me.

Both myself and Steve Lyons run them and they give big smiles, make a huge difference on performance & driveability and dont ruin your fuel economy!

Worth bearing in mind as an option, but obviously no comparison to the bigger turbo, injectors etc for those of you who are power hungry with money to spend! [;)]
