i have been given a kit by a mate so ive got a few questions

is this product anygood?

as i reguarly wash and wax my car is it worth me supagarding it?

Its S### - throw it in the bin.

The only good bit is the "Carpetgard" if you have been given it. This is like Scotchgard and protects the carpets!

Supagaurd cannot be compared to Diamond Brite!

SupaGaurd is pants. Once you've applied it, you'll wonder why your car isnt shinier than before. It's not worth a rub. Like CarT says, chuck it in the bin.

Diamond Brite on the other hand WORKS wonders.

Testament to this is not from me, but from everyone on this forum that has been satisfied from it!!!!!!

Have a look at all the recent posts from forum members saying how happy that have been using D/Brite.

If it wasn't any good then I wouldn't of had to do a 2nd Group Buy for them!!!

Seconded GTIfly. Diamondbrite is very good stuff and was solf at a very good price (1 bought it once then bought it again because it was really good). It came with the carpet stuff but havent tried that out yet. Supaguard does seem like a ripoff. If it did last for years (clearly ridiculous), then maybe its worth it.

Have you seen the compostion of each product ?????? Obvouisely not!

They are both the same.......So it can be prepared to the d/b....

Are you sure its genuine d/brite that you're obtaining?????? If so how are you sure????? Its just there are a couple of scamers on e-bay selling the d/brite kits...only thing the bottles contain a liquid hard wax instead of sealents, hence why you get more shine......

I've used SupaGaurd and Diamond Brite back to back. Supagaurd is pants!

Even from the start, SupaGaurd comes in some jelly sack sponge, to which u stick open and then swipe across the paint. PANTS.

Then after it's dried and buffed off, you'll think 'Oo doesn't look much shinier than before!' PANTS PANTS

A few washes later, and you'll realise that the water aint beading away like it was!!! TRIPLE PANTS

Why would anyone bother paying ?75-?200 for Supagaurd, I'll never know.

Like I've said, Supagaurd is pants, Diamond Brite on the other hand isn't! Testamant to this is the fact that everyone's been satisfied so far (50+ sold on the GB so far...)

And yes the Diamond Brite kit's i'm selling are genuine!

they are direct from the manufacturer - shock horror - Gti Fly has contacts in the trade [!]

Gtifly: Chill out dude......

for you're reference water beading is only a sign of high surface tension, it does not automatically mean the surface is protected.

Superguard uses a sheeting formula(hydrophobic:lacking an affinity for water the surface is smooth which in part causes ?water sheeting?.As aposed to d/brite which is hydroscopic:readiley taking up and retaining moisture when exposed to water,=????beading..

Also do you know what d/brite is supposed to do???????? Its a sealent not a wax / polish, and most Profesional sealents do not add shine to a paintwork, so thats why you dont notice much difference with the superguard, as you do all the hard work before applying it..It's more of a pure sealent.....

Finally....since when do you have to know someone in the trade to buy d/brite????????????????? Its readily avalible to joe public..furthermore its not classed a profesional product to many high end valeters....Its designed or aimed at the salesman of a dealership to sell for mega bucks...although you do get a warrenty when brought from a dealership.....

Squeeky I really don't understand where u are coming from.

You say Diamond Brite is 'Tripe' -

I beg to differ. And so do many other people who'd used it (on this forum).

YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON TO CALL IT TRIPE

You ask where I am getting my supplies from, and suggested that I may be buying fake stuff off of ebay.

- I have said I get this stuff from the manufacturer direct.

So thanks for the concern, rest assured this stuff is the REAL DEAL. I am not conning myself or anyone on this forum!

You have picked up my point about buying from the trade, as if it's no BIG DEAL.

I only revealed that I was buying from the manufacturer after YOU QUESTIONED the origins of my source!

Then you go onto saying even Joe Public can buy it, so no big deal... I don't ever remember seeing it readily available on the high steet for a decent price! Yes you can buy it on Ebay, but I personally wouldn't risk it.

Is it a crime that I have brought to an oppurtunity to the members of this forum to buy a product at an excellent price?? Isn't that what the Group Buy section was for?!

Everytime I read your above posts, all I can sense is that you are personally attacking everything that I type.

Maybe it's just your tone/choice of words, but I have read them to be attacking towards me.

I put this out to the other forum members to decide for themselves.

I rest my case.

Im glad you're getting from the manufactura(spelling)

Any joe pubic CAN buy it....You have.....NO OFFENCE MEANT......

No it certainly is not a crime to do a grp buy for the stuff on this forum.......However to slate a product which you appear to have little infomation on is not to cleaver is it??????

I do not mean come across agresive with my words in any way shape or form, and if i have upset you by this then i apoligise, it's not intentional....

Period....

I have met Jace a few times, he is not a kind of guy to fleece people. The results of this product are in the finish of his car - it is impressive.

- lets stop the arguing guys it is not worth it.

People use different cleaning products, no need to worry.

The best results I have seen before use a combination of materials.

I have applied my Diamond Brite this afternoon and all I can say is "What a product"!!

Very easy to apply and the results are completely astounding.

I have never seen my car shine like it is doing at present.

In the past I have used 3M polish, Zymol Creme and Titanium waxes and Swissol Shield was - non can get near the shine that Diamond Brite has given.

I highly recommend this product.

I second all that Gary has said, after doing mine yesterday.

Get your prep right and its a doddle.

I have used the DB kit from jason and am more than happy with the results especially at the price, I've put Titanium over the top and since have found the car easier to dry than previous and have found that after washing a fair few times less sponge / towel swirl marks than on previous cars I have had.
