Supagaurd cannot be compared to Diamond Brite!
Have you seen the compostion of each product ?????? Obvouisely not!
They are both the same.......So it can be prepared to the d/b....
Are you sure its genuine d/brite that you're obtaining?????? If so how are you sure????? Its just there are a couple of scamers on e-bay selling the d/brite kits...only thing the bottles contain a liquid hard wax instead of sealents, hence why you get more shine......
I've used SupaGaurd and Diamond Brite back to back. Supagaurd is pants!
Even from the start, SupaGaurd comes in some jelly sack sponge, to which u stick open and then swipe across the paint. PANTS.
Then after it's dried and buffed off, you'll think 'Oo doesn't look much shinier than before!' PANTS PANTS
A few washes later, and you'll realise that the water aint beading away like it was!!! TRIPLE PANTS
Why would anyone bother paying ?75-?200 for Supagaurd, I'll never know.
Like I've said, Supagaurd is pants, Diamond Brite on the other hand isn't! Testamant to this is the fact that everyone's been satisfied so far (50+ sold on the GB so far...)
And yes the Diamond Brite kit's i'm selling are genuine!
they are direct from the manufacturer - shock horror - Gti Fly has contacts in the trade [!]
Gtifly: Chill out dude......
for you're reference water beading is only a sign of high surface tension, it does not automatically mean the surface is protected.
Superguard uses a sheeting formula(hydrophobic:lacking an affinity for water the surface is smooth which in part causes ?water sheeting?.As aposed to d/brite which is
hydroscopic:readiley taking up and retaining moisture when exposed to water,=????beading..
Also do you know what d/brite is supposed to do???????? Its a sealent not a wax / polish, and most Profesional sealents do not add shine to a paintwork, so thats why you dont notice much difference with the superguard, as you do all the hard work before applying it..It's more of a pure sealent.....
Finally....since when do you have to know someone in the trade to buy d/brite????????????????? Its readily avalible to joe public..furthermore its not classed a profesional product to many high end valeters....Its designed or aimed at the salesman of a dealership to sell for mega bucks...although you do get a warrenty when brought from a dealership.....
