Just had a quote from VW for a "notched" spoiler, you know the ones....?99 and some change....

i was wondering how much its going to be to get VW to paint it? And fit it?

Not sure about vw but at a body shop anywhere between 40 and 80 pounds,i would not pay anymore.

Plus i have seen many spoilers,bodykits painted at vw and its not up to much to be honest.

yea the "notch" one on mine was a dealer-fitted option..

the car went back twice just cos the paint on the spoiler wasnt quite right (including some runs)

Dont get VW to do it, they wanted 450 + Vat to supply, spray and fit an R32 one to mine! Get a private place with a good local reputation to do it for you.

i was quoted ?250 for a standard spoiler supplied and fitted by my local dealer
