If theyre rare then I dont mind making my own one. BUT I need to know
the part numbers for the 10-pin-plug and the 12-pin-plug ... anyone

the stealers and wiring them up as follows ....

ah ok

this is what Ive managed to find off rogers site (thanks for the link!)

------------------------

2 x 1J0 973 722 <----- 12-pin plug

2 x 1J1 941 607 C <----- 10-pin plug

12 x 000-979-131 <----- small pins, not sure what these are for

8 x
000-979-225 <-----
large pins, not sure what these are for either

Could someone maybe confirm this for me ?

Not yet, they are still in the box at home. I will take some before I fit them. I've just started a new post in the lighting section asking for advice on fitting, so you may want to check that out. Think my xenons aare from a 53 plate R32, all the cables were chopped at the back, but that doesn't matter with the 10-12 pin adapters as they will replace what's there. Just got to fix the tabs at the top where the lights screw in and then I can think about fitting them - without washers or auto-levelling [:$]

I dont think its that difficult to make your own connectors, you have the part numbers have you got the prices?

The 12 small pins and 8 large ones you have on the parts list are the actuall metal connectors in the plug. When you buy a plug or socket from VW it will just be a bit of plastic. You push the pins in from the rear and they lock into place this gives you the contact in the socket. I have made various connectors for my car and its dead easy. I am pretty sure you will only need 6 small ones and 4 large ones as what you get is a wire with the same pin at each end.

I may be doing this in the near future so could let you know exactly how its done.

Hope that helps
