Never said it wasn't....but get this, there is a world outside OEM...get used to it. I'm only posting pics of a day out with some different cars from VW for once.

Was good, there is some amazing work done to the cars. Like I said, some were hidious, but some like the one with the amps I posted, the work done was absolutely spot on and amazing. The car and attention which goes into the cars is beyond belief! Yet some of them, you just can't help laughing at!

Not every one in the world can 'afford' to buy a fast car, and mod with 'exspensive' OEM products. What you are doing, is creating classes. Yes i agree 80% of the cars there should have big chav stickers on there, or kev's, but what about the other guys which have put more money under the hood and in the trunk than your car is worth. Not every one in the world wants drive a car which has OEM parts which any old man can own from his pension. Sorry to keep going on about this, becuase belive me, I love VW's just when you have to take out credit for 4 years to own one it hits home a bit! Buy a cheap car, spend 4 years putting money under the hood.. and watch it leave you behind!

(right im ready for the beating of my life now!)

I like the pics mate - thanks!

I too like to see what's going on in the world of modding outside the VW domain......it can be quite inspiring!

Was very busy, was just a tad on the cold side, a nice bit of good sunshine would have made it superb. Inside was the busiest and generally the areas where the girls were! However, it's so expanse! I'd say there were a good 20,000 people there if not more.

i guess i could have just said it like that... but was expecting a war.. and had to get my side of it in first! I tend to feel the best modded cars tend to be the ones which when 'er in doors say whats that.. you laugh and say its a escort with a nice body kit. You know.. they kinda cars which still look like they have come out of a factory, even though they have over ?2000 spent on doing the body work.

Darkus, lol, I would, but I would get killed, nothing too rude, though staying over at Donny South, so I'm sure I will get some stuff then!

Ah, this is why I saw loads of max'd up cars whizzing past me on the way back to Newcastle tonight!!

Some serious kit flew past me as well, RS4 followed by a black TDI golf that seemed to keep up (only to put the window down and hear a 1.8T [:O] cheeky!) A BMW 645i, Scoobies... it was like getting caught up in the Cannonball run! hehe!

It was like that going up from Devon on the saturday morning, was so funny when a convoy of 2 1.4 corsa's came past with big exhaust pipes etc, you could tell they were trying their hardest to reach 100!!

I still found it funny'er W36 When you looked out the window and said "what the f'uk", I turned to see a corsa which had just raised it's bum end up (hydrolics!!! While we were sitting in traffic!) Also those corsa's on the way up! You where doing about a ton to catch them... then next thing i knew we went over a massive bump (join) in the road.. I thought we where going to be sitting on top of it! (W36 was about 5 foot away from the corsa's bum and still speeding up!!!!... time to hang onto door handles!) saw my life flash before my eyes!
