Thanks for the comments chaps, car was running well over the summer but as always in the never ending thirst for more power i've got another list of things to get done on it during the winter! Was running at about 320bhp which was enough for a very short time. R-Line R32 bumper sits on well, there?s a FMIC behind there which unfortunately wouldn?t go with the old bumper hence the change, it also finally got a trip to the spray shop to get the stone chips sorted and the side skirts so they weren't falling off.

Hi Carlos,

It is in fact a Sportec kit, installed at AmD, which is on there. Goes down the route of a larger KKK turbo instead of IHI. It uses a bigger manifold and all the other normal big turbo stuff but does differ from Jabba's kit in a few ways. Have a look here, this details the kit: http://www.fastgolf.co.uk/sportec.html

a8wpg - One of the reasons for hooking the engine out again is that like all these things you can always look back over it and see how you could do things slightly differently and make an improvement on things such as cooling and oil breathing as shown after Castle Combe a few months back. Also one of the biggest buzzes i get is from the spanner work as well as the driving!

Very nice!

Not meant as criticism, more a constructive suggestion: As a rally marshal, safety officer, occasional competitor and scrutineer, a question I ask many rally crews, can you reach the fire extinguisher from the drivers seat when you're strapped in? If not I'd suggest you move it and bolt it to the floor just in front of the drivers seat. If you're upside down and there's no one else around how would you put a fire out?

Very true indeed, probably better located under the front of the drivers seat. Going to start putting the front half of the cage in soon so will probably move it then.
