Let my girlfriend drive it last night... She couldn't quite believe it and promptly stalled coming out of Tescos car-park!!

Anyway she became less nervous after a while and I heckled her into flooring it on a few occasions...

It was funny seeing her face as she floored it in fifth at 70 MPH and watch the needle fly up past 90-->100-->. She kept getting worried about just how much it pulls!!!

Anyways reminded me of how I felt when I just got it Revo'd...

When I got her to keep it in second and floor it she couldn't believe wheel spin at 60!!! Admittedly she got it round to 6K before chickening out!!

SO who's had the same experiences then??

Oh she drives a Caviler 2.0 which has been fixed many times by myself...

I let my misses drive whenever I am slightly intoxicated. See seems to enjoy it, luckily I am slightly intoxicated so I don't know what she is doing. She also borrows the car to get to work when either her car is frozen over, or it is going to be a really hot day. i don't actually think she likes driving it too much as she is scared of crashing it. Its funny checking the fuel economy after she has driven when I am not there, ity always seems to be quite bad, as if she has been ragging it.

Mine drives mine a fair bit. It's very amusing though, she canes me for driving too fast or whatever but then she drives it like a possessed demon. Her favorite saying behind the wheel is 'See Ya later wide boy' after blowing off some chav mobile!

She's taken mine today. I'm sure she'll race everyone she can on the way to and from work.

As long as she gets home safely, I don't mind. I'd worry a lot more if some of my colleagues drove it.

We share - though like the advert, fight for the keys.... unless I'm drinking. Woke up once in the passenger seat with my face stuck to the window as she was racing a Seat Leon Cupra over six or so roundabouts through Milton Keynes... and she won.

Good girl.

She drives it now and again- its quite amusing watching her screw up her face in agression as she floors it, you have to watch these women when they get hold of a few extra bhp.

Got her one of these last year, so that keeps her in check

The last time my wife drove my (previous) Golf she hit a kerb and destroyed the rear axle.[xx(] ?2,500 insurance bill. She was pregnant and driving me home; I was full of Guinness[)]. She said "IT'S ONLY A KERB!!" shortly before all the warning lights lit up.

She hasn't driven the PD150 - I like the rims as they are[^].

My Mrs drives mine quite often. We only have the one car (the two land rovers don't count) so we both drive it. She used to tell me off cos I dirve too 'aggressivly' (I prefer to call it enthusiasticly) but she got out the other day and apologised, saying it was the cars fault! It is set up reasonably low and stiff, and just begs to be thrown round corners, so I can see her point![:D]

I'd let her drive it whenever she wants but she's scared of it!

She's only driven it once and nearly wet herself when she put the foot down in second. She drives a 1.25 Mazda 121!

Shes also scared of kerbing the 18's since she saw how much I cried when I did it!

I let my other half take my motor out anytime she wants really. She has dilema's which to take as she has a cooper S but she also loves driving mine. As for the other way round, not aloud near her motor unless I am washing it. I have so got to get out from under that thumb. Golf girls style is the way to go
